|Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ launched in India|
The latest versions in the Realme 9 Pro 5G series, the Realme 9 Pro 5G and Realme 9 Pro+ 5G, have landed in India. Triple rear cameras, hole-punch display design, and 5G connection are among the commonalities between the phones. The Light Shift Design on the Realme 9 Pro 5G and Realme 9 Pro+ 5G alters the colour of the rear panels from radiation blue to red when exposed to direct sunshine or UV light. However, there are some notable distinctions between the Realme 9 Pro 5G and the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G that make them suited for varied user demands. The 6.43" AMOLED display on the Realme 9 Pro+ has a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It contains a fingerprint scanner on the bottom, as well as a heart rate monitor.
The Dimensity 920 chipset, which supports 5G, is one of the most powerful in the midrange market. It has 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. While the 4,500mAh battery supports 60W SuperDart charging, it throttles less and reaches a full charge in 45 minutes, which is 2 minutes faster than the 65W of the Realme 7 Pro. The Realme 9 Pro+ comes pre-installed with Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0 on top.
The entry-level 6GB RAM + 128GB storage Realme 9 Pro 5G price in India has been established at Rs. 17,999 (introductory pricing). The phone is also available in an 8GB + 128GB variant, which costs Rs. 20,999. The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G, on the other hand, begins at Rs. 24,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The phone is also available in an 8GB + 128GB model for Rs. 26,999 and an 8GB + 256GB model for Rs. 28,999.
The Realme 9 Pro is the less expensive of the two new phones, yet it outperforms its more expensive sister in several ways. The screen has a larger diagonal of 6.6" and a greater refresh rate of 120Hz, however the display is LCD, which means the fingerprint scanner is on the side, under the power key. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 695 chipset is used here, and it still offers 5G connection. The platform comes with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and a single storage choice of 128GB.
A 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera make up the triple camera arrangement on the rear. The selfie camera uses the same 16MP sensor as the main camera. Because the Realme 9 Pro is larger than the Realme 9 Pro+, it can accommodate a larger battery - 5,000 mAh. It charges at a relatively low 33W, although the appropriate charger is included in the retail package.
Aurora Green, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Blue (Light Shift Design) are the colours available on both Realme phones. However, the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G will be available starting February 21, while the Realme 9 Pro 5G will be available starting February 23.
