Elon Musk's $44 billion buyout of Twitter prompted a flurry of requests for him to buy a plethora of other businesses. While several Twitter users suggested various things the Tesla CEO might have done with the money, many others asked him to take over other companies as well. It became a meme template, with people pretending to be Musk and tweeting that he's purchasing Australia or McDonald's to fix all of the ice cream machines. Musk, who is known for his sleuthing, seemed to have grasped the task. "Next I'm buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in," he tweeted.

Coca-Cola, the world's most popular soft drink, included cocaine as a crucial component when it was first introduced. Cocaine was extracted from the coca leaf, while caffeine was obtained from the cola nut, resulting in the Coca-Cola brand name. Back in the 1890s, cocaine was utilised as a medical medicine in the United States.

Coca-Cola once included a stunning 9mg of cocaine per glass, but this was drastically lowered over time before being fully phased out when Prohibition reached the United States, stigmatising the psychoactive substance.
