Motorola has revealed the Moto G52, a smartphone that will be powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor and include up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It ships with Android 12 out of the box, with a promise of an upgrade to Android 13 and three years of security updates from the manufacturer.
The Moto G52 has a full HD pOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 6.6-inch full HD pOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. According to Motorola, the display has a 360Hz touch sampling rate and supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The phone includes the Snapdragon 680 SoC, as well as the Adreno 610 GPU and up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Internal storage options are limited to 128GB, with an additional 1TB of external storage available through a microSD card. A 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities completes the set.

It has a triple rear camera system, including a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor with "Quad Pixel" technology and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Quad Pixel is a low-light sensitivity pixel binning method that merges four pixels into one. This translates to a 12.5MP picture from the 50MP sensor. The front camera will have a 16MP sensor with an f/2.45 lens aperture.
Moto G52 price and availability
The Moto G52 begins at Rs 14,499 for the 4+64GB model and Rs 15,499 for the 6+128GB variant as an introductory pricing. The smartphone will be available in two colours: Charcoal grey and Porcelain white, and will be sold through Flipkart and select retail outlets. Customers of HDFC bank may get an immediate rebate of Rs 1000 on both versions when they buy them. Customers of Reliance Jio may get Rs 2,549 in perks, including a Rs 2,000 rebate on recharge and a Rs 549 discount on a Zee5 yearly membership.
