Realme is getting ready to introduce new Q series phones in China. On April 20, the Realme Q5 series will be available in China. Realme has confirmed that the Realme Q5, Realme Q5i, and Realme Q5 Pro will be part of the series.
While details on the three phones are still scant, Realme has verified some of the Q5 Pro's features. The Realme Q5 Pro will have a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, according to Realme's Weibo account.
A triple-camera arrangement on the back of the Realme Q5 Pro will be placed in a rectangular camera island. The phone will include a hole-punch camera cutout on the screen, as well as power and volume controls on the right side. On the bottom, there's a speaker grille and a USB Type-C connector.
Along with the official confirmation, the Realme Q5 Pro's characteristics have surfaced on several certification website listings. The model number RMX3372 of a Realme smartphone surfaced on the Geekbench website. Thanks to numerous other certification website entries that came online previously, this model number has been linked to the Realme Q5 Pro.
The absence of a fingerprint reader on the side and back of the phone hints that it will have an in-display fingerprint sensor and an AMOLED display. The Realme Q5 Pro also looks to feature a yellow finish with a bright and dark checkerboard pattern, giving it a unique racer feel.
In single-core testing, the Realme Q5 Pro received 1,003 points, while in multi-core testing, it received 3,153 points. The next tablet is expected to run Android 12 and have 8GB of RAM, according to the description. According to the listing, the phone would be powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Kona chipset. The Snapdragon 870 SoC is known by this codename. A prime CPU core with a maximum clock speed of 3.19GHz, three cores capped at 2.42GHz, and four cores capped at 1.80GHz are also listed.
