iQoo Neo 6 5G has been rumoured to be coming to India for some time, but the firm has yet to reveal any official information. The smartphone, which comes with Qualcomm's most expensive processor, is already available in China.
According to a fresh report from a Twitter user, the smartphone will be released in India later this month, with sales beginning in early June 2022. The specification of the India-specific iQoo Neo 6 5G is different from the China-specific model, as stated before by another tipster Mukul Sharma, presumably to keep the device more inexpensive and not to reduce competitiveness of its other variants. The phone was also spotted in a new BGMI Open Challenge advertising film.
iQOO Neo 6 5G features and specifications
The India-specific iQoo Neo 6 5G might include a 6.62-inch E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits brightness, according to the leak. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 870 CPU, with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage, might be used. A 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging is reportedly expected to be included in the phone. A 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel shooter might make up its triple back camera arrangement. A 16-megapixel selfie camera and an Android 12-based custom skin are possible additions.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset is included in the China-specific iQoo Neo 6 5G. The source also mentions that the Indian iteration of the iQoo Neo 6 5G would cost approximately Rs 29,000, with the premium model costing around Rs 31,000. Customers may also select from two other colour schemes.
