Motorola Razr 3 images leaked with expected specifications

Motorola is expected to release the Razr 3 in China by the end of July or early August, according to reports.

A trustworthy tipster has obtained photographs of the Motorola Maven, which is supposed to be the next foldable Razr-branded smartphone from the Lenovo-owned company. The Maven will be Razr's third-generation device, and there have already been a few rumours regarding the Motorola Razr 3. According to the newest source, the smartphone would look more like the Galaxy Z Flip 3 than the Razr or Razr 5G devices. The Motorola Maven is rumoured to include a dual-camera arrangement on the back and be available in a variety of RAM capacities. According to reports, the device would be released in China first, followed by the rest of the world. Motorola's foldable smartphone will be offered in two colour variants. Motorola originally teased the Razr 3 in December.

According to a report published in conjunction with Evan Blass popularly known @evleaks and 91Mobiles, the Motorola Razr 3 is codenamed Maven. The phone is expected to be released this summer. The magazine also received photographs of the smartphone. According to the images, the Maven will have a "boxier and more squared off" appearance than its predecessors, and will look more like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. The device will include a twin camera configuration for optics. Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue are the two colour possibilities for the foldable smartphone.

Motorola Razr 3 expected features and specifications

Maven is the device's codename, and it's being tested in two different SKUs. The first has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, while the second has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor. However, because of delays with the Gen 1+ SoC, Motorola has yet to announce its next-generation chipset. The Razr 3 will be available in a variety of storage capacities. It will come with 8GB/ 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage.

A dual-camera arrangement will be installed on the outside. A pill-shaped module contains the 50MP and 13MP camera sensors. Along with the camera sensors, there is an LED flash module.

Blass did not provide any information about the display's size. The foldable screen, on the other hand, will include a Full HD+ display and a 32MP front camera sensor. Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue are the two colours available.

If the Moto Razr 3 specifications are accurate, the gadget will receive a significant improvement. Snapdragon 700-series chipsets were used in previous Motorola foldable phones. While the SoCs were capable, the launch pricing did not justify the hardware, especially when Samsung released the Galaxy Z Flip with superior features and a lower price.

According to Blass, Motorola's next Razr 3 will be released first in China. By late July or early August, the business aims to unveil its foldable phone in China. It will also be available in international markets later this year.
