Google has recently taken a major step in preventing third-party Android call recording apps from being installed. Google has decided to eliminate all call recording applications from the Google Play Store beginning of May 11th, 2022. All Android call recording apps that have been approved will be deactivated. As a result, you'll have to rely on your phone's original call recording capability if you want to record voice calls.
If your smartphone does not have a built-in call recording capability, you will be unable to record calls after May 11.
To record audio calls, many users use Truecaller, one of India's most popular dialer apps. Call recording is one of the most popular features of the Truecaller app in India. Truecaller has also stated that users will no longer be able to record phone calls anywhere in the world as of May 11.
According to a source, "At Truecaller, we have started recording calls for all Android devices based on substantial client requests." Truecaller claims that handsets with built-in call recording would not be affected.
Some smartphone manufacturers, including Xiaomi, Samsung, OnePlus, and Oppo, have call recording facilities built in that will continue to work after May 11th.
