Twitter start testing a new Circle Feature to share tweets with small group

Twitter users will be able to add up to 150 individuals to their Circle, including followers and non-followers, with the new functionality.

Twitter is experimenting with a new feature that allows users to tweet to a select set of followers. Twitter's new feature is called 'Circles,' and it's similar to Instagram's 'Close Friends' list.

Despite this chaos surrounding Twitter's major takeover by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the social media platform's developers are still testing new features.

Twitter users will be able to add up to 150 individuals to their Circle, including followers and non-followers, with the new functionality. Users will be able to share individual tweets with their Circles without having to share them with the rest of the community. The Circle function on Twitter is still in beta and hasn't been widely released yet.

To begin, press the 'Compose' button and go to the 'Choose Audience' menu > Choose Circle instead of Everyone from the drop-down menu. It's worth mentioning that your Circle members won't be able to retweet your initial tweet. Other members, on the other hand, will be able to screenshot or copy the text of your Tweet. Users may also add or delete individuals from their Circles at any moment, although only the Circle's founder has access to the list of persons in the Circle.
