Who'd have guessed that WhatsApp only included message responses this month? You're not insane if you believe it. But now comes the tedious process of improving this function, and one area where it may be enhanced is in determining who responded which way to a single photo or video in an album without having to open the album.
According to WABetaInfo, the functionality is now in development and will be released on WhatsApp betas for Android, iOS, and desktop in the near future.

When a user reacts to media in a WhatsApp album, it is now possible to see just who gave the reaction and the reaction itself without opening the album, but not the media in question.
With this update, the app will be able to show a thumbnail of the following photo or video within the existing message reaction information.
There's no date for when it'll reach beta users, let alone stable app users, as with many of these feature discoveries at this point. If you're searching for something to do, the Meta-owned platform has a slew of new features planned, including file sharing, a premium membership for WhatsApp Business customers, and rich link previews for status updates. Another much awaited feature, the option to secretly depart groups, is planned to be released in the near future as a beta version.
