Stephen Sondheim's "Company" received six Tony Awards in 1970. The Tony Award-winning musical about single 35-year-old Bobbie (Katrina Lenk) and her oldest, most cynical, and divorced friend Joanne (Patti LuPone) comes back for a second time, 52 years after it first opened. This year, the musical is nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival. Along with cast members Matt Doyle and Jennifer Simard, LuPone was nominated for Best Featured Actor/Actress in a Musical.
According to Deadline, the production is a "wonderful revival," with "across-the-board great performances and savvy changes to the visual delight of a lovely and smartly imaginative set design." If you want to see "Company" live, here's all you need to know.
