WhatsApp has previously revealed a new group chat feature that would allow users to add several people to a group conversation. According to recent reports, the tech giant has begun rolling out a feature on the messaging platform that allows users to establish and join bigger groups, which was previously only available to Android and iOS beta users.
Admins will be able to add 512 people to a WhatsApp group with the new capability. The update was made available today. Open WhatsApp on your phone to view the latest feature update.
Even if you're an admin of a group, go to the group chat and touch on the title. Then click 'Add Participants,' and you'll see that the limit has been increased to 512.
WhatsApp is working on a number of changes that will be gradually rolled out to users. Aside from this functionality, the instant messaging platform's group chat option will get a lot of new changes this year, including the Communities feature.
If this update not showing in your WhatsApp, then update the latest version to see the changes.
However, the Meta-owned firm is said to be working on a feature that would allow users to alter/edit their messages. According to WAbetainfo, the functionality is being tested as part of a forthcoming release for WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and PC.
